SPRING BREAK!!!

Hello all!

I am home for spring break!!!! This last week could not have ended soon enough! I have been reading books because I want to (not because I have to!), sleeping in, and spending time with my family! I've only been home since last night, but it has been fabulous! Sorry for so many exclamation points... I'm just so excited to be away from school!!!!

I am trying to do as much as I can before Tuesday... when I have my wisdom teeth taken out. I figure I will get so sick of the house that I'm trying to get out a lot before then. My dad had knee surgery yesterday too. He tore the meniscus in his knee. I already apologized to my mom since she will have to take care of both of us. In any case, I'm really hoping I get caught up on some sleep. Hopefully, I will be on some good painkillers! I'm in a knee brace too. My dad and I were comparing knee braces this afternoon. My mom said it was sad! I think the nurse gave me one that is too small. I can't hardly get it off at the end of the day, and it just feels too tight. Oh well, I may only have to wear it for ten days. I'm just falling apart!

Even if I don't get to do much over spring break (I'm a little jealous because two of my brothers are in the mountains, one is skiing), I am so thankful to get away for a little bit.

Here's hoping your week is a little less painful than mine will be!

Inagural Address

Well, here I go! I don't have much experience with this, so don't expect too much at first. I'm a senior education major at Wayland Baptist University. School is going pretty well, but I am definitely looking forward to spring break... even though I'm getting my wisdom teeth out. I love to read in my spare time (just not textbooks!). Most importantly, I am a follower of my savior, Jesus Christ. I still make more than my share of mistakes, but somehow He still loves me! I am extremely blessed with my family. I have four brothers, all of which are as ornery as I am! I also have an amazing boyfriend that I met at Wayland.

I know this is somewhat short, but I can't think of anything else to say for now. Thanks for reading!
